Studio
A single air-conditioned room with the bed, wardrobe and seating, and its own attached bathroom. The most economical way to stay, and enough for one person or a couple who are out most of the day.
One-bedroom
A living room with sofa seating and a dining table, a full kitchen along one wall, and a bedroom that closes off from the rest. This is the unit most long-stay tenants take — it holds up when you are working from home or when guests come.
Family apartment
The largest units, with extra beds and a bigger living area, for families staying together over a long period. Front-facing family units open onto a balcony with a clear view over the rooftops to the hill.
Living here
A lodge room gives you a bed and a key. Here you get a whole apartment — whether you are stopping for one night on the way through, or the posting runs a year, the treatment runs three months, or the family is between houses. The stay is as short or as long as you need it to be, with no fixed check-in or check-out time and a 24-hour stay always guaranteed from whenever you arrive.
Every unit is a self-contained home. A modular kitchen with a granite counter and storage where you cook what you want, an attached bathroom, an air-conditioned bedroom, and a sitting area with a television. The floors are vitrified marble-finish tile, the corridors are glazed on one side so every landing is full of daylight, and there is a passenger lift so the fourth floor is as easy as the first.
You arrive with clothes and a laptop. The bed, the wardrobe, the fridge, the fans, the geyser point, the seating — all of it is already there. It is easy to find, easy to walk into, and once the door is shut it is entirely yours — complete privacy, for however many nights you keep it.

The parts of a long stay that get tiring are the ones nobody photographs: the stairs, the parking, the corridor at night.
Reaching the top floor with luggage, groceries or an elderly parent is not a consideration when you choose your unit.
Space for cars and two-wheelers under the building, out of the sun and out of the rain, behind the front gate.
The corridors are windowed the full length of one side, so the walk to your door is daylit rather than a dark passage.
A generous staircase with steel handrails and a window at every landing, for the days the lift is being serviced.

Recent construction — the tiling, plumbing, wiring and fittings are new, not a converted older lodge.

N.G.G.O. Colony, Thudiyalur, off Ooty Road — a residential address in Coimbatore rather than a room over a highway. The post office is directly across the road, which is all an auto driver needs to hear.

The unit is cleaned and handed over furnished, on your schedule. Bring your clothes and your kitchen habits; everything else is standing there.
